Buckingham Palace

The King, Lord High Admiral, took the Lord High Admiral's Divisions at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, this morning.

The King arrived at Totnes Railway Station and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

His Majesty drove to Britannia Royal Naval College and was received by the Captain (Captain Andrew Bray RN) and the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff (General Sir Gwyn Jenkins).

The King was received on Parade with a Royal Salute and witnessed a flypast of Falcon jets, before inspecting the Parade.

His Majesty presented The King's Sword and telescopes, before addressing the Parade.

Afterwards The King attended a Reception with members of the Divisions.

Buckingham Palace

The King this morning officially opened Guinness Open Gate Brewery London, 1 Mercer Walk, Covent Garden, London WC2, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of Diageo (Sir John Manzoni) and Mr. Jason Thorndycraft (Managing Director, Guinness Open Gate Brewery London).

His Majesty toured the microbrewery, meeting brewers, before proceeding to the 232º Bar and meeting graduates of Diageo's business and hospitality skills programme (Learning for Life) and The King's Foundation's Introduction to Hospitality course.

His Majesty afterwards met representatives from local businesses and the community in Old Brewer's Yard.

Colonel Toby Browne was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Crown Equerry when His Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

Later The King, Honorary Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers, and The Queen gave a Reception at St. James's Palace for the Ship's Company of HMS PRINCE OF WALES to celebrate the return from Operation Highmast.

The Queen received Captain Benjamin Power RN this afternoon upon assuming his appointment as Commanding Officer, HMS PRINCE OF WALES.

St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon visited the Ravelrig Group, 21 Ravelrig Gait, Balerno, and opened their new indoor Riding Arena, having been received by Mrs. Elaine Aitken (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, later attended the Linlithgow Marches Golden Jubilee Service at St. Michael's Parish Church, Kirkgate, Linlithgow, followed by a Reception at Linlithgow Burgh Halls and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Lothian (Ms. Moira Niven).

St. James's Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, this morning visited Disability Initiative, Knoll Road, Camberley, and was received by Mr. William Biddell (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Masons, this evening presented The Duke of Gloucester Award for Excellence in Stonemasonry at Mercers' Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London EC2.

Buckingham Palace

The President of Romania visited The King this afternoon.

Later His Majesty received members of the public and members of railway staff who showed particular bravery when dealing with a recent incident on a train which ended in Huntingdon.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Passage, this morning visited St. Vincent's Centre, Carlisle Place, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King this afternoon.

The Lord St. John of Bletso (Lord in Waiting) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this evening upon the Arrival of The President of Romania and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of His Majesty.

St. James's Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, 1st Battalion London Guards, this evening attended a Carol Service at the Guards Chapel, Birdcage Walk, London SW1.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Carol Service at St. Olave's Church, 8 Hart Street, London EC3, followed by a Reception at Trinity House, Trinity Square, London EC3.
