The King attends an Advent Service at Westminster Abbey

The King has attended an Advent Service at Westminster Abbey, highlighting themes of Advent and ecumenicism, and the experience of persecuted Christians.
The King was greeted by the Dean on Westminster on arrival at Westminster Abbey.
The congregation for the service included Christian leaders from across the UK and the world; members of Anglican Clergy; and representatives of other faiths and charities.
The Order of Service featured an Advent message from The King.
During the service, music was sung by choirs from the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Syriac Orthodox Church.
His Majesty greeted those who delivered readings and faith leaders.
